Title of the Programme

The course is called the "CYP – Yoga Volunteers Training Course."

Aim and Objectives

The main aim of the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) Volunteers Training Programme is to promote and disseminate Yoga among the general public across India for health promotion and well-being.

Eligibility: Open to all · Duration: Part-time programme of 36 hours.

CYP: Introduction Programme (12 Days)

Covers fundamentals of Yoga, Yogic Sukshma Vyayama, Yogasana principles, alignment & relaxation, health benefits, cleansing practices (Shodhana Kriyas), the mechanism of breathing, Pranayama principles, Dhyana, Yogic diet, and Yoga for distress and rejuvenation — paired with a progressive series of asanas and pranayama practices building toward the full Common Yoga Protocol (CYP).

CYP: Yoga Sadhana (6 Days)

Self Practice, Assessment & Certification

6 hours of self-practice, assessment and certification.

Certified by Dr. I. V. Basavaraddi, Director, MDNIY, New Delhi — as part of India's "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" initiative to train 1.5 lakh people in Yoga.
